Effective August 8, 2026. KOL Finder turns a product brief into focused creator-research searches using public TikTok content signals. No TikTok login or KOL Finder account is required.
Information processed when you search
Only after you tap Find TikTok creators, the product term and selected research paths are sent to our production service and to our search provider, TikHub, to return public TikTok content signals. This information is processed to complete your request. We do not create an advertising profile or a persistent search-history database.
Rate limiting and operational security
The service derives a one-way hash from the connecting IP address in server memory to enforce abuse limits. Standard infrastructure may also temporarily record connection metadata such as IP address, request time, and route for reliability and security. Product briefs and search-result bodies are not written to those access logs.
Public creator information
Results may include public creator names, handles, public post text, engagement counts, audience-size signals, and source links. These are research leads, not endorsements or guaranteed partnership recommendations.
Sharing, advertising, and tracking
We do not sell personal information. The app contains no advertising SDK and does not track you across apps or websites. Provider credentials remain on the secure server and are never included in the app.
Retention
Search responses may be cached in server memory for about 60 seconds to reduce duplicate paid requests. Operational metadata is retained only as needed for security, diagnostics, and routine log rotation.
Your choices
You can use the app without creating an account. If you do not want a product term processed by the service, do not start the creator search. You can request privacy assistance at derektaotang@gmail.com.
Children
KOL Finder is a business research tool and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
